This globally recognized program is the best way to become a certified scuba diver. Personalized training is combined with in-water practice sessions to ensure you have the skills and experience required to become truly comfortable underwater.
It is easy for dive skills to get rusty and to lose confidence when you have not dived for a while. We will get you back in the water and diving with ease in no time. This course allows you to practice scuba skills you learned in your Open Water Diver program.
About Us
NoMads Scuba Academy is an SSI diving school that focuses entirely on high quality SSI diving courses. You can come to us from Try Scuba to Professional diving courses. NoMads Scuba Academy is a trademark of Active Blue Diving Center, a PADI 5* Dive Resort, in Aydın/ Kusadası.
In addition, NoMads Scuba Academy has moved to other training locations as an SSI diving school. That’s where the name NoMads comes from. We are not tied to a fixed location. Our base town is Aydın/ Kuşadası, but in consultation we also provide training in other places within Türkiye, but also in the Netherlands.
Depending on the instructor, we can provide training in Dutch, English, German and Turkish. Do you want to know if we can offer the training you want in one of these languages? Feel free to contact us!
Active Blue Diving Center is the only dive center in Kuşadası that has an Enriched Air Nitrox filling station. Because we are part of Active Blue Diving Center, we also offer Enriched Air Nitrox courses. As a Nitrox diver, you can increase your bottom times and safety margins, plus shorten your surface intervals – so you can spend more time diving and less time waiting!
Classified Diving Program
NoMads Scuba Academy is also specialized in Classified Diving. The SSI Classified Diving program provides adaptive training for students with limited mobility and/ or sensory disorders, allowing them to dive with one or more Classified Dive Buddies, or a Classified Dive Professional.
Through this program, individuals with disabilities or limited mobility who are medically cleared by a physician can experience the thrill of scuba diving. First in confined water environment, then potentially in the open water.
We are the only diving school in Kuşadası that provides the SSI Classified Diving program, because it is important to us that people with limited mobility and/ or sensory disorders should also have fun!
